The Seven Pearls of the heart (Jawahir Sabhatul qolbiyat)

As the heart is the hub of all spiritual elements responsible for mystic exercises, seven pearls are connected to it as they tend to initiate the mystic virtues associated to the subject drawn to it. According to Sidi Ahmad Tijani, May Allah be pleased him, "the pearls of the heart are seven, and the heart has seven treasures each treasure; haven of a pearl". The pearls are,

1. Pearl of remembrance
(Jawharat zikr)
2. Pearl of desire (Jawharat
Shawq)
3. Pearl of love (Jawharat
Mahabat)
4. Pearl of the Secret (Jawharat
Sirr)
5. Pearl of the soul (Jawharat
ruh)
6. Pearl of the Gnosticism
(Jawhart Ma’rifat)
7. Pearl of destitute (Jawharat
Faqr)

Since, the pearls have been listed, here's the exegesis of each of them

The pearl of remembrance
(Jawharat zikr)

When this pearl opens up in the heart of the worshipper, he becomes drown in remembrance of the Lord swt with the uniqueness of unifying his heart with His, its absence is more admired than its presence. This triggers the heart to send message to other parts of the body to get vanished in the remembrance of Him in all
states and conditions and finally becomes joyous and satisfied with Him. The heart of Sidi Mansour Al-hallaj ra, was hung on this pearl, so he realized God’s emanation in all sights, the pearl unified his thought with Him and couldn’t help himself screaming the truth from within the truth.

The pearl of desire (Jawharat
Shawq)

This pearl activates the strong desire of the abd to seek Allah, he desires nothing other Allah, he prefers his mind and soul get annihilated and vanished into the divine. He is more desired to him therefore; he prefers death to see His face, a good illustration is seen from the quest of Sidi Imam Ghazali rta, he set forth his mind and soul towards the community of the Ahl Safa to quench his desire for God. He left his family, community and academic activities to search the Ultimate

The pearl of love (Jawharat
Mahabat)

The pearl is of high significance to the Sufi masters, they took this pearl as the driving force towards upholding the presence of the most high. The pearl makes them to follow the divine instruction, feel the reality of the elements of faith, makes them pleased with the divine decree, the divine ordainment in the state of happiness and unhappiness. Sidi Imam Shafi rta in his work enjoins us to submit ourselves in lieu of love to what Allah has decreed. Sidi Mahruf Al-karakhy rta was actually engrossed in His love and would pronounce His Love while receiving the pain of cane from his Christian teacher when he was
young. Sidi Ibrahim Niasse rta obtained the rank of the Gawth (succor) through this pearl

The pearl of the Secret (Jawharat Sirr)

This pearl is the vastest of all the pearls as its hidden nature could only be comprehended by the people of the inner Dairat (divine circle), the pearl takes the subject to the most favored inner twelve circles. Sidi Ahmad Tijani seems to be the most prominence of the saints having this pearl, and this garner him the highest rank of sainthood, the sealed and concealed pole. The pearl is so hidden that it conforms to the Hadith: A-sirru yusaru (the secret should be hidden). It pronounces the diverse conditions and states and maneuvered through the divine. The largest part of what is been created emanates from the sir, solitude and silence are the best characters of the secret as informed by Sidi Imam Junayd rta

The pearl of the soul (Jawharat
ruh)

This pearl nurtures the soul of the gnostics and assists in spiritual unveiling moving from the inner realm. A heart tha is naturally endowed with this has an extra-ordinary sight and works more divinely mysteriously. Mostly, this pearl are been directly sent from the treasures of the divine kingdom

The pearl of the Gnosticism
(Jawhart Ma’rifat)

Gnosticism is best perfected when the heart is fortified with the pearl of ma’rifat. The subconscious and conscious state of the mind appreciate the reality of Ubudiyat and Rubbubiyat, it revolves round these two in
such a manner that its laws are cautiously abided by, The fundamental work of this pearl is to appreciate the reality of the knowledge of the externals as illuminated by the divine light. The heart could either be trained to attain Gnosticism or directly
nurtured by the Divine right from
childhood like He did to most Sidi Abdul Qaadir Jilani Gaosul Aazomi, may Allah be pleased with him and many more other saints

The pearl of destitute (Jawharat
Faqr)

When this pearl opens up in the heart of abd, he relinquishes all properties into the divine wealth, he perceives himself a destitute in his Lord, who has nothing in his capability and at his disposal except from the divine treasures. His heart migrates from awareness of capability into
awareness of incapability where he seeks divine intervention in all his endeavors. Pains of submission to the Sublime elevates him to the state where he fears no creature and he’s deem protected from the spiritual peril of all creatures, he vanishes into divine abundance leaving behind the worldly treasures. The hearts of the pious men of Allah have this pearl satisfactory.

The pearls are granted to those choosen by Allah and are fortified in the heart according to the capacity of the illumination the body can hold

Only ALLAH confers guidance and Mercy. May His Sublime blessings and Nur circumambulate our soul, mind and body to carry the inherent gnosticism by the rank of the Master of the universe, Prophet Muhammed SAW.
